About 6 months ago I submitted my website to a directory and further it has been approved.
Two days ago I realized that they removed my entry and then I asked them why. Here is the answer:
"We've been under a penalization by google, they said we have too many low quality pages. As a result I've hider a few people to go through all the links in the directory and delete everything that looked spammy, had too small a description and so on. Your link must have looked somewhat spammy to one of them so it was deleted. You are welcome to resubmit though and let me know and I will approved right away. Please use and unique, 300+ characters description as we aim for more quality for both ourselves and our clients."
Now my doubt is:
I had a backlink on that directory, the link has been removed (I do not know for how many time), then I put again the link there.
Could Google think I control that backlink or that I paid to be there?
Can I submit again the link to that directory without having problem with Google's zoo?
