Video thumbnail near my search result

I have a video thumbnail near one of my links for a certain keyword. The thumbnail just takes the user to my page.

After a lot of digging I found that this is coming from a video sitemap that I completely forgot about. I removed it from Webmaster tools about two weeks ago but the thumbnail still shows up.

Any way to make sure it goes away? it's not a relevant thumbnail and doesn't even have a video.

I've never seen or heard of anything like this - it sounds like a bug or glitch on Google's end. Are you still seeing it?

Yep, it's still showing up... very frustrating. I'm renaming the thumbnail that it's using, so maybe if it's gone it'll stop using it...
