Will affiliate sites with same testimonials get de-indexed?

Hi

I have a potential client who wants his site optimised. He has 3 business associates in different countries, each operating similar websites, selling similar products. The problem is they are all displaying the same customer testimonials.

I think this is plain old dupe content that needs to be fixed. What do you guys think?

They've been doing fairly well is the SERPS for a high competition niche for the last 5 years. eg. the UK site is 8th in G for primary keyword phrase.

If you have 100 pages of great content and 1 page is duplicate content, then its no big problem. If you have a 3 page site and 1 page is duplicate content, then you have a big problem.

I would also wonder how effective your testimonials are if you are showing the same testimonials regardless of what country your visitor is coming from.

He has 37 indexed pages with one page of duplicate testimonials.

when I initially posted I knew of 3 sites all on different ccTLDs, but this morning I have been informed of another site meaning there are now 2 .co.uk in the mix :(
