Problem with Google Sub-domains

Try: checkout.google.com [checkout.google.com ] and google.com/checkout [google.com ] both are same.

Like this other Google sub-domains are also having problem.

Such situation is negative or positive for SEO?

Both redirect to accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?
I would not think it matters.
