Google announced today [goo.gl ] that any choices you make in your profile’s search settings will now be saved to your account, traveling with you to any logged-in web browser.

I assume there are many people who would appreciate this. I spend a lot of energy making sure I'm NOT logged in (getting personalized results) so this feature doesn't hold much for me.

I dunno, for years I can't seem to to convince Google to save the setting that opens a search result in a new window (I have to set it over and over and over again every few weeks) so pardon me for being skeptical on this one.
