WMT - Site Performance Now Has 12 Day Update Lag

Hi,

I'm in Australia and look after 4 authoritative websites, each with hundreds of thousands of pages and we've been getting Google crawls every single day for a very long time now.

I look at Google Webmaster Tools for all the sites daily and keep an eye on all the stats and changes.

I've noticed that the Site Performance Graph on Google Webmaster Tools has fallen behind in terms of keeping up to date.

Previously, I'd only ever see a 3 day lag across all the sites with the graph getting constant updates.

Now, I'm seeing a 12-day lag at the moment since it hasn't updated since last week (when it was already behind schedule) and the days keep rolling forward.

Anyone else seeing this same behaviour across their properties?

Is this an isolated incident on our end?

Just trying to get to the bottom of this...

I just checked a bunch of sites - all show last update on August 10.

Seems like they may be working on some sort of changes to the Site Performance Tool perhaps?

I wonder if the WMT delay is in any way tied to the spam patent they recently filed that suggests a time delay for ranking change is in effect. I wouldn't think it would be, it's most likely just an updating schedule type of issue, but who knows.

Google announced Site performance would be removed soon in April.

Though we can still use the feature, it may update less frequently then before.

Thanks for that @suzukik I had totally forgotten about that...

I quite liked the Site Performance Tool and am accustomed to checking it daily across our entire portfolio.

Oh well. Will have to resort to other means I guess.
