Wrong Time Stamp in SERPs

Sorry to post another topic so close on the heels of another, but just wanted to show that time stamps in the SERPs are not necessarily accurate.

^ That's a link to a SS showing a thread I started just a few minutes ago. Google's showing it was posted 11 hours ago.

For whatever it's worth, I thought I would post it. (Mods please feel free to tack this on to the SERP Update thread if that seems more appropriate).

You're right. Especially for forums, Google has been getting the time wrong for quite a few years. This one is particularly bizarre.

Yeah, I've never noticed it being off but, then again, I don't usually double-check the accuracy of the posted time stamps.

What's funnier is that if I "google" the thread topic, the top result says this topic was posted 19 hours ago. The second result, however, shows that it was accurately posted 5 hours ago. :D
