Site has a penalty - but I cannot find a "guidelines violation"

I just received message from google that my site is in violation of the guidlines. I went trough the guidlines multiple times and cant find why there is a penalty. Does anyone has an experience with this?

Well what does it exactly say? You cannot expect much of a response with a vague query in the first place :)
