I'm thinking about dismantling some blogs and reusing their content as it is original and useful to visitors of sites I run.
Right now posts link out to my sites.
Now I wonder if I should use 301 for some time or not. Blogs do not have many incoming links.
If I go this route and "re-do" posts into site articles, will there be duplicated content issue? Could Google's caching be a problem and should I worry about delay Google has in its results?

I question 301 as I'm afraid of giving wrong signals.

Thanks

If you remove the blog version, then caching will not cause a ranking problem. Duplicated content is not really the cause of a true penalty, anyway. It takes other issues in addition for it to be an issue.
