In Google's WMT Crawl Errors report, there's no data for April 11th. Mouseover the graph and the date jumps from April 10th to April 12th.

Anyone else seeing this, or perhaps a similar situation for slightly different date?

On another note, I see the date interval markers along the bottom of the graph are now spaced at 7 days. They used to be spaced at 6 days, which made little sense to me. The ellipsis also changed from three to two dots.

Interesting - I also see the missing April 11th. Wonder if it's just another interface bug or a genuine data problem.

Mouseover the graph and the date jumps from April 10th to April 12th.

Or count the dots from 10 to 16 and there are only 5 of them :) (YMMV. Being small, I have days with no new Crawl Errors. So they're not simply skipping days with zero values.)

The ellipsis also changed from three to two dots.

Leosghost is working for g### now?!

And ###, I've flagged that non-new non-error as "fixed" three times already. Saying that it links from page such-and-such is a brazen lie, and the sitemap you claim to have found it on was superseded at least a year ago.

:: mutter, grumble ::

And besides, it returns a 410. Is this not a hint that I already KNOW it's not there?

It can take three months for crawl errors to drop off the list. Patience is required. Lots of it.

3 months? I regularly see urls that have not existed in 5+ years in GWT and domain names that are not registered by anyone appearing in adsense(domain registrar accidentally and temporarily resolves abandoned domain to your site in a shared environment). I wonder what the impact of that is on Adwords advertisers.

I'm missing data for the 11th as well.

I also see errors pop up for very old URLs that haven't existed in years. Just last week on one site, a 404 error appeared in the list for the URL that was used for the 2004 product catalogue.

What I mean by the "3 months" applies to newly created errors. They can take that long to drop off the list once fixed. As for the older errors; they're a mystery.
