We have a .htaccess rule that redirects our site (abc.com) to (www.abc.com). We have also have a php detect script that then redirects conditionally for mobile devices to m.abc.com).

So for abc.com on an iphone...they get a double redirect. I've been told this is bad for SEO. Is this true?
