Hello!

Please could you help me with my small website. I have three target keyword phrases (service town name1), (service town name2), (service town name3). Two of our towns we are number one spot for over 12 months but the third town name we are about number 20. The site is only about 20 crawl able pages as our 'product pages' are generated on php script pages.

Please could you suggest how I could improve our ranking on google?

Thank you,

Paul

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Paul!

Here are some general tips that may be helpful to you depending on your situation.

1) Build three testimonial pages that are specific to each town. This will create an opportunity for you to add pages to your site that are rich in relevant keywords and local mentions. It will also help conversions by demonstrating to your users how many satisfied customers you have.

2) Cross promote with other local business websites. If you sell widgets then talk to the local repair shop and cross promote with their website. If you alter or customize widgets then cross promote with a widget accessory store. Get creative and don't be afraid of linking out to relevant websites.

3) Make sure your title tags are unique and relevant for each page. Also don't over stuff the title tag. If your title tag is too long then its probably a sign that your page can be broken into two separate pages (assuming you have the time to create more content).
