What might be accidental "low-quality signals"?
If people don't like it, they don't bookmark it, they don't print it out, they don't explore other parts of the website, and they don't come back.
In each case: How can g### tell?
the number of subscribers Google shows in /webmasters is completely different than the number of subscribers listed in Feedburner. And I mean they are off by a few thousand.
Pretty sure I've read a quote from MC stating they don't use these sorts of metrics in the algos.
