Foreign Spam Backlinks

Recently after checking my backlink profile, my site has attracted quite a few spam backlinks with the anchor text written in Asian characters. We don't do any black-hat tactics and have remained clean in our process, as well as not submitted our site to any spam directories, yet we still have these foreign links. Any thoughts on how to get rid of these or stop these from occurring?

Any site that succeeds to any degree at all will attract this kind of "attention" and there's very, very little to worry about.

In my experience, your time and energy are best spent in a proactive way, building and strengthening your own trust/authority and engagement with your audience. The stronger those things are, the less any kind of spurious backlinks can do - and they can't do very much anyway.

You're welcome. I've seen sites spend scores and scores of hours chasing these ghosts - including trying to build 301 redirect for all the bad backlinks that pop-up. Never does any good - just let them alone I say. Don't let some idiot half way around the world dictate how you should spend your resources.
