I had an internal page with no external links. I just received an external links and within 72 hours my ranking moved up. Then I created some internal links to see if it would move up but 8 days later I still see no change ...

It seems to me to google is " quick " at seeing external links but " slow " at seeing internal links.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced what I am currently experiencing...

Internal links don't impact rankings nearly as much as external links do - I'd say that's a big part of what you're noticing.

I agree with you but I think the reason might also be the fact that my pages ( with the changes ) have not been index yet.

Well, you don't usually need to theorize about that. You can check the crawling directly in your server logs and check the indexing in Google's cached page - although the cached page date can lag behind the actual updating sometimes.

If it's a new page, just enter the URL in the search box to see if it has been indexed or not. Also note, Google may crawl a page but decide not to include it in the index.
