Page rank to subpages - when there is no internal linking?

I am wondering how can google pass PR to my subpages if i have no internal links ? Is it thru the menus ?

Do google consider the menus as internal links ?

Yes, the menu is one kind of internal link.

So there is not point in having text links unless you don't have sub menus ...

Yes there can be a point for internal text links - they should help your visitors. Internal text links are also a stronger signal than the main navigation and sub-navigation, in my view at least.
