Google slow to index new pages in the last few days

I have a site that Google would always pick up new content within a few hours. A new post is added daily. My last post is now two days old and is not in the index. I search the exact title with qoutes and the page is no-where to be found.

I am wondering if it is something to do with my site specifically or are others seeing Google a little slow to index new pages over the past two days?

Did you try just entering the new URL in the search box?

Yes. The post is indexed now. Just a small delay, my two new posts are also indexed (within hours). I was hoping that the atypical behavior by Google meant an update. No such luck...
