I'm working on a project where the goal is to get a call into a call center. Has anyone used (or seen) something like this in the SERPS:

Example Company - 800-555-1212
www.example.com/
Snippet text taken from the site description or from the page content. Blah Blah Blah...

Sure it is.

To protect websites from an unwanted site review we can not post specifics. But if you do a search for any company with a famous toll free number you can find examples. I have also come across many local businesses that have included their phone number in the title and have it displayed in the serps.

There are some issues to consider when including a phone number in the serp. Would the limited space in your title tag be better used to include another keyword? If users see your phone number in the serp and they all call it instead of clicking your listing will you lose rankings?

I am not saying it is a good or bad idea just that there are other things to consider before you implement this change.
