Repetition of snippet under multiple urls - Duplicate Content?

Does repetition of same snippet under multiple URLs also fall in content duplication? e.g. I have a product listing page with 10 products listing and 2-3 same products are appearing under all relevant pages of same category:

abc.com/chemicals
abc.com/organic+chemicals
abc.com/inorganic+chemicals
abc.com/household+chemicals

Since couple of months I am receiving email in WMT "Googlebot found an extremely high number of URLs".

Do you think that it is the reason of same problem i mentioned above?

Are these either search pages or dynamically generated faceted navigation pages?

You don't want to give Google too many subtle variations with repeated content. In general, you need to add extra descriptive content and/or rewrite repetitive product descriptions for your core variations, those you want to keep, and hard link these in your nav structure... and then block the other (possibly huge number of) variants from being spidered or indexed.
