2 domains under 1 registrant- affect serps?

Hi,

i have 2 domain names registered under my name
in relation to wedding products
cheapweddingproducts. com.xx
and
luxuryweddingproducts. com.xx

i have 1 domain currently hosted and showing on page 1 in google.

my question is if i take that 2nd domain and host it with a different hosting company, will it affect the serps of the 1st website, because the 2 domains are in my name?
eg will google penalise me?
(i have heard they access to who is data)

the websites are both about wedding products
1 geared to cheap weddings and the other to luxury,
they are not duplicates of each other, but basically about the same topic

As long as the content and target audience of the two domains are unique, there should be no issue in Google rankings.

I agree that it should be okay. Although there might be some risk if the content is very similar and you link the sites to each other.

Providing both sites offer totally different content and add value to the Internet there is no risk at all.
