Noindexed the wrong pages - how long until they get back in?

So I accidentally (well actually my developer, but I take responsibility), left a noindex, nofollow tag on some pages I was updating.

Within a 2 days they were dropped from Google. The tags have been removed since, but the pages are still not back. Any idea how long this may take? Should I just submit a sitemap?

I've done something similar... in the past. It took a good 30 days or more before getting re-indexed. It was interesting because our NEW content at the time was indexed within 10 minutes... It might be worth experimenting and changing the URL to see if that helps speed it up.

I've done it and had them back within 24-48 hours. You might try getting a new link to the content - even some tweets or stumbles or likes might help.

Or heck, stick a date on it - everything's sposed to be all about "freshness" now, right? You could always remove it later. I guess I'd give it a shot.

Ok well in all honesty it was actually the WHOLE site. My developer uploaded the new site which had the tags.

So how long until it will be back in? It was removed in 48 hrs, so hoping it will return that quickly.

I have had my entire site blocked with robots.txt for months on purpose. When I removed it a couple of days back, I thought I wouldn't see a change for at least a week. But the re-indexing at least partially was done in just 24 hours.

I got a few new links, Google+ business page, and also submitted a sitemap ... worth a try.

Ok, it's been a week now, and a lot of my pages have returned, but not my homepage! Although it is back in Bing/Yahoo, no sign of it in the almighty Google. I have submitted sitemaps twice, any other tips?

Took me one week. I didn't have a ton of links, but I had a few relevant ones.
