Googlebot stopped visiting sites completely last couple of hours

I'm wondering if anybody else has the problem of googlebot not visiting a site at all in the last a couple of hours. I've also checked two sites o different servers via Fetch option in GWT and for both it says the sites are unreachable. Contacted one of the webhosting providers and concluded that on our side everyting is working fine. Checked robots.txt and htaccess, both are OK.

Did you mean unreachable or reachable? If unreachable that would be the issue and then the below is untrue.

Googlebot has started to visit again the sites, so this is a kind of solved. To clarify this, GWT was showing that the sites are unreachable, but after checking on my server, I learned that the bot hadn't try to visit the site at all for a couple of hours. So the server was running normally and configured properly, and the problem was apparently on Google's side. We did nothing and they started to crawl again.

I hope this has not been happening often.
