How Google is Showing the Results

Search "kashmir tour packages" on google.co.in, In the first 30 results Google display the TripAdvisor 13 times.. Is Google algo is not working for some queries or any other issue?

Hi rajeshth02. We normally don't discuss specific keywords, but I appreciate that you're new and probably didn't know that guideline.

In recent times, depending on the query terms, Google no longer limits the results to only 2 per domain. However, 13 from one site does seem like too much. In fact, that's not the results I get when I do the search right now.

I dunno, maybe sometimes Google does show results like that. Someone (in a different location from me) congratulated me on twitter for having the top *eleven* spots for a particular query. I couldn't reproduce or see it myself, and I never heard anything about it again. But I always thought it was pretty odd.

I ran the search through AdWords preview tool (logged out) and didn't get any TA results

In the top 30 results, I'm seeing different TripAdvisor tlds and cctlds showing up all together for 14 pages... searching on google.co.in from the San Francisco Bay Area, 10 results per page, no quotes.

Google is showing here many different data sorts... eg...

Hotel_Review and LocationPhotos from tripadvisor.in...
Hotel_Review from tripadvisor.com.my...
ShowUserReviews and ShowTopic from tripadvisor.com...
LocationPhotos from tripadvisor.com.sg...
ShowUserReviews from tripadvisor.com.au...
two different ShowUserReviews pages from tripadvisor.ca...
...etc etc etc.

The user reviews appear to paginated 4 reviews to a page, and Google is returning basically different content. I didn't count carefully, but I don't think I'm seeing more than two pages per domain.

Note that google.com does more or less the same thing, also with 14 results. I haven't checked carefully enough to see if it's the same pages ranking in both Googles.

I do remember results like this from google.com in the US some years back, with TripAdvisor more dominant than I felt one company had a right to be, but never quite to this extent. No one TripAdvisor domain, though, is dominating... it's the set of international domains that is getting the multiple results.

I have personally watched the travel space in India for around 3 years and I can confirm that for many travel (leisure) related searches TA dominates and that to extensively as mentioned by the OP. I have seen instances where TA (different TLDs) results were shown 9 out of 10 times in Google.co.in

I am seeing crazy results for the travel niche in India, with some large geo targeted domains like tripadvisor garnering all the traffic for most keywords. What is funny is they seem to be ranking for pages from .in, .com, .ca, .au and more such domains, in the first two pages.
