I have domain like this www.widgets-4u.com The fake site has the domain like this www.widgets4u.com. I registered my domain back in 2005 (was 16 years old, and didn't care about seo at the time)

When I click on the 2nd domain it just redirects to another site. What type of recourse do I have here? I can do anything about this domain that registered after me and trying to get free traffic off my site?

You've got potential legal issue more than a Google issue. Have you trademarked your domain name? If it's important enough that someone wants to cybersquat, that might be a good step to take. And if you haven't, the ground you stand on is much more shaky.

That said, even without legal protection, Google is clear that they don't want to return results that merely redirect to another site. So you could report the other domain as spam - but know ahead of time that you often don't see any changes from that for a long while. They usually don't take manual actions on spam reports, they prefer to use the input to design a "more scalable" algorithmic approach.

If you have a Webmaster Tools account, you can report spam while logged in - go to http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport

If you don't have a Webmaster Tools account, you can report spam at http://www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html

You can also use the "Give us feedback" link at the bottom of the search results page.
