Webmaster tools showing thousands of .tk links

I've just checked my webmaster tools account out and its showing 4698 links across 4 VERY spammy .tk sites

Do I have any way to get G to ignore these links? as not only does it look like I've purchased them which I haven't but I don't want my site associated with spam like this

Odds are they already ARE ignoring those links. Unless the links appearance coincided with a dramatic loss of traffic for you, you can pretty much count on it.

A lot of webmasters have had the same impulse as what you expressed here - however, Google engineers have always answered such ideas by saying that they do filter out such links. In addition, most links to a strong site should be the kind where the owner didn't directly have anything to do with their existence, the infamous "freely-given editorial link."

The best defense against any problems in this area is a healthy backlink profile altogether. Then the spammer junk stands out clearly as just what it is.

The traffic is stable and yes its got a good link profile - still annoying seeing all those links on my WMT account, but so long as traffic is fine its something I'll have to ignore
