I run a fashion related website and am thinking about adding to site search links to other websites from my domain and am wondering if that could be harmful to my site.

For example I want to have a link that shows all the product results for a popular clothing brand on a well known website. So I went to that website and did a site search for a popular clothing brand and now I wan to add that resulting link on MY website. Here is some of the code that is part of the link and I am curious is site search results links on another website could hurt mine. Part of example link below.

search/EndecaSearch.jsp?bmForm=endeca_search_form_one&bmFormID=j79ibIy&bmUID=j79ibIz&bmIsForm=true&bmPrevTemplate=%2Fsearch%2FEndecaSearch.jsp&bmText=SearchString&SearchString=

An interesting question. We know Google doesn't want to index search results pages - but I've never seen them specifically address this question, and after all, you're only linking to specific searches, not a potentially infinite search space.

If you feel this is something that would help your visitors, you might be smart to use a nofollow attribute.
