Google API for automated anti-plagiarism checking?

I'm curious if Google provides an API to automate checking for the copy/paste "plagiarism" (e.g. copy/pasted product descriptions)? In example I would like to send an array of several strings of text to see if they are found on other sites.

I don't think so, JAB - even though it would sure be nice. I hope someone knows differently.

Another concern is that in recent months, Google doesn't seem to capture long exact phrases very well any way, so I wouldn't trust the report no matter what.
