Hi Everyone.

I started a website around 4 months back. Everything was going good and pages were getting indexed very fast.

Last time i checked a week back, there were around 3500 pages in Google Index and around 3400 image results.

Suddenly, i noticed that the website has been removed from Google And also from Google Images.

I don't see any message in Google Website tools.

I find it strange that Google still crawls the website.

Also, the data like URLS in web index for the sitemaps shows that out of 30 URLs submitted in sitemap, 29 are in Google Web Index.

Should i ask Google team is this case or apply for re-inclusion?

Regards
Dhaliwal

This may be a temporary thing. But I am confused by "3500 pages in the index" compared to 29 pages from the sitemap in the index, compared to "Website removed". Are you depending on the site: operator for some of your numbers?

What type of website was it?

- Ecommerce
- News
- Forum
- Blog
- etc...

Also - Were all contents on the site unique, or was there scraped, product descriptions, boilerplate content that was provided by vendors, etc?

Thanks

@tedster
sounds strange to me.
1. The website is in Google News.
2. The Google News still shows its pages in Index, but hasn't indexed the pages for past 3-4 days.
3. The sitemap i am talking about was latest RSS feed, listing only 30 news. Out of those, Google shows that 29 are in index.
4. It might be temporary, but such a thing hasn't happened with my websites before.
5. This website hasn't been promoted. No links built so far. Only links it has are from similar website, but for some other country.
6. The website has clean stuff only and all the news posted are original. We don't carry wire stories.
