I am not sure, if others on this forum have also noticed a decline in traffic numbers due to holidays ?
Just wondering, if there will be some decline in the total online traffic during this time as well.

I think most websites experience a traffic loss during the summer months. On my sites it seems to be about a 10% to 20% drop. People tend to spend less time on the web during the summer due to vacations, trips, outdoor activities, etc. Also, at least in the U.S., many students are out of school, and this seems to affect how much time they spend on the web and what they search for.

Definite downturn for us in the summer months; early spring and fall are best, summer gets long and slow. And the 4th of July holiday is always brutal, for some reason even worse than the Christmas holidays. This year July, 1,2,3, and 4 were way off, but at least it was expected.
It is what it is, try not to stress about it!

It certainly depends on your industry. If you are in retail your high season is the months leading up to Christmas. If you are in travel, your high season is in the summer.
In my industry we see decent traffic during the summer but the July 4th holiday hit harder than previous years. We saw a 20% decline in traffic for that week. Other years the decline has been around 15%.
