Is Friday the Main Day for Google Ranking Changes?

Is it my imagination or is it like this for everyone, is Google making changes on Fridays to their results. Everytime I see a site go down in the results it seems to be a Friday, likewise when I see a site go up it also seems to be a Friday.

I've never noticed any pattern like this. In fact, I often notice ranking changes on Tuesdays but it doesn't seem regular enough to be a "thing".

It's Thursday. I tested it.
I added Panda droppings to my site and my site disappeared from SERP on Thursday.
I removed Panda droppings from my site and it came back onto SERP the following Thursday.
The Thursday algorithm is not a page level penalty; it is a site level penalty.

It's 4th of july weekend here. The 4th is on Monday, could be reason for traffic drop off.
