Site visits have fallen 40% - new algo change?

Hello,

I'm loosing at least 40% of my site traffic; site is always the same, I didn't modify anything.
Is there someone who is experiencing such an issue?
Opinions? Explainations?

My visits started decreasing as of the last 6, but had the real fall as of 15...

Panda 2.2 was around June 15th. If you saw traffic dropping before that date, it might not be purely Panda.

When you look in your analytics what do you see?

Are Google referrals down 40% or is it a drop from a combination of sources?
Are all of your keywords impacted or just a few specific ones?
Did you check the rankings for the keywords driving less traffic?
Did your competition gain backlinks?
Did you lose backlinks?
Are your non-Google referring websites still referring the same amount of traffic?

It's from Google and some meta-data Google-based engines.
I get 90% of site traffic just from G...

Not all, but mainly specific ones. Some of them anyway have been affected before 15th (as of 5-6th).

No, I did not.

I dont't know.

No, I didn't as I'm aware...

Are your non-Google referring websites still referring the same amount of traffic?

Yes they are.

I would add that my site should not result among the ones being penalized from Panda, as it serves only fresh, unique and original content. No unethical seo is involved in any way.

Panda is not so much about unethical SEO. It is more about poor quality signals from a website (too high ratio of ad space on the page, duplicate content, poor link structure, high number of errors on site). I suggest you read the Panda threads and see if your site shares any common traits being reported by other webmasters.

Just a last question: in your opinion, could this be a temporary effect?
Could the situation come back to normality in some weeks, with no site changes?

I have absolutely NO ads on my pages, no errors, and no duplicate contents...
I always opted for a clean SEO policy, so I wouldn't know even what/how edit or modify...

Same with many people, i posted the same my traffic dropped on the 7th Uk Based, was not affected by initial panda

The only thing i have done is started Link building again and people are reporting negative effects initially

keywords are strong and not really lost any places over all so i would say they will bounce back but when i dont know

Can you provide more details about what types of links you have been acquiring and at what rate you have been acquiring them?

I am a member of a forum and a while back disabled my signature, i re-enabled that so i would have around 400 signature links, which could put the wind up Google to see that many arrive

I also started writing as a guest blogger on some good high profile sites, but not too many of those maybe 20-30

PR4 site with 5600 links from 1600 I:P so should not really hit me,

As i said above my rankings have not really dropped traffic has so not sure what has really happened, its like a switch has been flicked

I have a separate blog (not linked)also that there is no linking going on with and that lost traffic to their too

I personally think its a glitch that will sort its self out in the coming weeks
