i have a site which repeats targetted keyword 2 times in the title like this

for example: if targetting keyword is "red widget"

then my title goes like this

"Red widget, watch red widget online "

now when i search "red widget" in google

i only find first keyword of the title which gets BOLD, because of exact match,... the second keyword doesn;t get bold...

same goes for meta description...... i have got the keyword repeated 2 times in there,...it gets bold only 1 time..

I have checked several sites and several keywords across different niche and I find this problem only happening with my site

can anybody help me with this isssue that why google is failing to find the 2 keywords an exact match?

furthermore, situation gets interesting if i search the other phrase i n the title i.e. watch red widget online

now this time first "red widget" doesnt get bold, but the phrase watch red widget online gets bold, even though red widget is a subset of watch red widget online and it should also get bold

help me.

The bolded word routine is not an indicator of what helps your ranking. It's a text match script that runs at the last minute - AFTER the results are retrieved.

What you noticed is peculiar, however - and especially the second part. Sounds like some change might be getting tested.
