If you want to remove a certain section of your site, perhaps a few hundred pages, what is the best way to do it?
One issue obviously is that the pages will remain indexed in Google, and will 404 whenever anyone lands on them.
Sure, you might want to 301 some of the pages with links, but it will still show hundreds of pages indexed which don't exist.
Is there some way to quickly remove all these pages? I am guessing maybe something in WMT?
