Been out for the day and now finding that anything Google (as far as I can tell) causes both FF and IE to crash. I am of course keen to see how Adsense has been going and my stats on GA.
Is it just me?

Obviously this is not a universal issue or it would be all over the news. When you say "anything Google" what do you mean specifically? The google.com home page? The search results? Their blog posts? Sites with Adsense? Sites with Google Analytics?

Your computer has a virus that is attempting to intercept all of your searches. Do a thorough scan with your current anti-virus and then go find tools like Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and get as many second opinions as it takes to clean your computer.

Maybe, but it sounds like denisl is having troubling viewing AdSense and Analytics accounts at the very least. I don't know about AdSense, but Analytics makes use of Flash.
@denisl: Are you having trouble with sites like YouTube, also?

+1 on possibly a flash issue. After a virus scan the OP can try updating their flash installation to the latest version or rolling back the computer to a previous state. Flash just updated for me this morning.

Thank you all for your input. Did a virus scan and a reboot and appear to be OK - it did appear to be all things google but they may have been the only sites with flash that I was trying to access - though Bing was Ok - might use Bing more!
Don't know why my opening post here was delayed for review. Are we not allowed to use the G word?

Every new thread here in the Google SEO forum is automatically placed in pre-mod review, and not published live until a moderator is available to do that review - which can be up to 24 hours, although we certainly try to do much better than that. Nothing specific to this thread at all, which only waited 42 minutes.
You can learn more about this pre-moderation procedure in the Google Forum Charter [webmasterworld.com].
