Googlebot Timely Visits

Hi Just noticed something on my site visits by Google bot, its visiting the home page every hour to the minute 05:55 06:55, 07:55, 08:55. and true to form i just watched it go at 09:55 and has been like that since yesterday morning

normally i get a visit to the homepage maybe once a day sometimes longer, so this is kind of new to see this, anyone else noticed this ? its the same bot.

Is it the same IP address and can you verify that it is the real googlebot [webmasterworld.com]?

Thinks so reverse DNS Points to Google, this was the IP 66.249.66.57, visited 34 hours straight all on the Hour @ 53 minutes which was really strange.

It was doing a deep Crawl all other URL's were different after the visit so it was not just a error crawling the same pages

Google bot and Bing bot have caused my dedicated server to continually crash the last 5 days. I'm actually in the process of moving to a more capable server right now.

Not sure what's going on but the bots are going "buck wild" on two of my websites.
