As we know a number of quality sites got hit by Panda, baby out with bath water. Which is very annoying
Meanwhile, we see the rise of the old doorway pages making great ground.
So now you see a page about "blue widgets" with detailed analysis that the adsense reps pushed the webmasters to carry more adsense on, getting well and truely hit and demoted in the index.
And at the same time some junk sites writing a page of keyword text about "blue widgets" with a link to "See your blue widget results here" that points to a page full of adsense results storming up the index.
Meanwhile, those quality sites reducing adsense and in general tidying up their sites to fall in line with the additional new criteria and google guidelines fall into the various other google re-index filters and are still nowhere to be seen / demoted.
If they are going to be this ruthless with the index you would think that there would be some respite for responsible webmasters trying to react and do the right thing?.
When you have invested significant years building a great site its sickening to see junk sites ranking above you, with old black hat tricks, because google now deems your site as poor quality and there is nothing you can do about it.
