Panda side effects: More ad and link requests

I'm getting a lot more link requests and questions about direct advertising options on my site since Panda hit.

That kind of surprises me because my site to a big hit in Panda 1 & 2 and in between the two. So the visibility of my site in G is significantly lower than before Panda.

That leads me to wonder how the other sites are finding me in the first place.

Anyone else seeing an increase like this?

I have noticed this, I wonder if it's desperation from advertisers and linkers dropping in conversions as the sites they used to rely on have all their traffic taken away by Panda.

This happens about everytime Google pulls an upheaval in the results. Other than that it’s pretty much what Shatner says.

I now get like two requests a day, i ignore them but they write again. PrePanda it was once a month.

I've stepped up my linking efforts, not because I suffered any effects from Panda, but Panda cleared the field for searches of sites I may want a link from.

I make no judgments of the benefit of Panda, I just deal with the new emphasis Google has placed.

Certainly not desperation, and if I'm ignored then the other site potentially loses out on highly targeted visitors. It's not my job to make sure other sites do well, it's my job to make sure visitors find what they are looking for, and sometimes maybe that isn't my site.
