Hi everyone,

I was curious if Google offers a way to grab results from Google shopping via a feed service. I would like to create a PHP script that allows me to view the lowest prices in Google shopping for products I also sell.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Another important question, is it against Google TOS for their shopping network?

Thanks in advance!

I doubt that they have a feed service for that. But you should be able to grab information from them, but it could get you in trouble.

As far I know the google base feeds is for your products only. Not for products of others.

And yes you could automate it, but the DOM in the shopping results could be country dependent so check it, you could use preg_match_all, they have a unique class for the price field.

but it could get you in trouble

Who's going to be in trouble? The IP in use?

Thanks for your replies. Considering there is no easy way, I will probably pass on the idea. Might as well play it safe as I don't want my website IP being banned :)
