Meta descriptions, (and titles in some cases) not appearing in Google

I noticed a sudden drop in traffic for one of my sites: while it still ranks as before it looks Google is not showing meta descriptions (and cache links) anymore for several pages. In some cases it doesn't also show the title and replaces it with the url.

I checked and everything seems fine with the code.
Any idea on what the problem might be?

Unfortunately I've found what happened.
Someone, who somehow gained ftp access without authorization, disallowed the whole site in robots.txt, which I didn't initially check because I was 100% I didn't change.

Anyway Google didn't drop the pages, they're all still ranking very well, but often without cache, title and meta descriptions.
