Hi guys,

I have some urls to search my website like:

site.com/search/key1

The problem is recently, I noticed google indexed some of this search pages that aren't never linked (neither from mywebsite or form external website)

Example: my website has a link to this search page like:

site.com/search/key1-key2

I found indexed

site.com/search/key1 (only key1)

When that link is never linked.

Is this normal? (Consider that I am losing uniques since I opened this new search pages)

Thanks a lot

Google has many ways of discovering urls and is developing even more ways. For example Google could have discovered that url if it was posted on twitter. It is also speculated that Google and other search engines buy data logs from large hosting companies. If you want to be safe you should use robots.txt to block urls.
