Hi, Anyone help with this... I have a webpage that on Internet Explorer 7 (I have Vista and CANNOT upgrade to Ex 8 or 9) and this page shows NO/Zero page Rank(Current page is not ranked by Google) BUT on Firefox shows as PR 4... okay.. I doubt this webpage has any page Rank but why is Firefox showing it as having... I have refresehd the wepage but still PR 4

Any suggestions? and is there a definitive place to establish if a web page has a PR?

There really is only one source for Toolbar PageRank, and that is Google's own PageRank servers. That is the source that various browser toolbars query and other reporting services too.

Sometimes those Google servers don't respond, and sometimes their responses are a bit buggy. And it's also possible that older browsers or toolbar versions may be technically challenged for up-to-date pings of the PR service. I can't say for sure about that.

found a couple of sites to check this... it would appear that Firefox is showing quite a 'glitch' with regard to displaying Page Rank of 4 when in fact it is 0!

When you use a Google Toolbar, that's what you're doing.
