Lost ranking for single keyword

I have a site which is an online shop for medicine. It was getting 9th ranking in google.com for keyword [brandname]. It completely lost ranking for that keyword. However, other keywords (e.g [brandname online]) are intact in ranking. Google has wiped out many scrap medicine sites from index. Is it starting point for the ban?

Facts to take into consideration:

>> Site is not banned (yet)
>> While surfing through online-proxy-sites it on 9th
>> Ranking for other keywords are fine
>> Geo-target for the site is set for USA

It simply is true - Google can and does penalize for one keyword and not others. Is this what happened to your URL? We can try to sort it out, but no promises of being 100% accurate.

How many places did your URL fall - and when did it happen?

when searched from non-USA ip it appears and goes. While searching from USA ip it is there. But earlier it was on top-10 now in it is falling.

All the keywords are keep fluctuating. And most of the time url is falling.

One thing is certain - SERPS will never stay the same. A few years ago I started keeping track of certain SERPS. I noticed that some fell while other gained. This was way before PANDA.
