Google Showing Same Titles in Serps? From the same site

I was searching through google for my sites, and I noticed that some keywords now show two results with the same title in the results. Both of these same title pages were from my site.

Also I was not logged into my google accounts.

Also the pages that they linked to were a subfolder, and the 2nd result was a paginated result from that folder. (page 2)

I never seen this before. Is this good news for my site that has about 800 pages in certain categories with the same page titles? Also I do not use canonical tags or noindex.

Also my site right now in March 2011 is experiencing a massive traffic increase. 6 months ago I was getting 2.1 million views per month, now I'm at 4 million almost.

That is peculiar. I would have thought that Google's automated "title rewrite algorithm" [webmasterworld.com] would have done something here.

I have seen an authority site has three pages with the same title, all showing at the top of the search result for that keyword title, instead of duplicate title penalty.
