A client of mine have quite the problem: His website links keep changing, then changing back again after some time then changes again. My client sells phones and equipment and contacted me regarding his website-links after he noticed a strange behaviour.

The issue is that in his site links the word iPhone, iPad exc keep popping in and out of his site links (they should be there). One week it will say "iPhone 4 accessories" and two weekes later it will just say "4 accessories" and visa versa.

I have a hard time believing that it could be connected to the adwords thing, where some words is filtered, especial since allot of his competitors do not seem to have the problem.

this is how google outputs his website links at the mo:
4 Tilbehør (should have been iPhone 4 Tilbehør)
4 Cover (should have been iPhone 4 cover)
iPod Tilbehør (means iPod accessories)
iPad Tilbehør (means iPad accessories)

What's really strange is:
- the name widthin the anchor tag is correct (in his product menu)
- the page title of the landing page is correct
- the meta data of the page is correct
- the h1 of the page is correct

Any thoughts on what the problem might be, would be greatly appreciated? :)

That is quite an interesting situation. It makes me think that there's something about trademarks in play, or at least being tested. But then you said his competitors are not seeing the same thing.

What does the Webmaster Tools section about Sitelinks show?

Same as the site links, meaning we have 4 result that is broken. where 2 of the sitelinks show up without the correct anchor text. These two:
4 Tilbehør
4 Cover

I seem to remember that google was bared by the EU courts from filtering trademark words in adwords and sitelinks. But I have found competitors to my client who seem to have the same problem. But then again I have also found some who don't.. I don't quite know what to make of it though..
