Google Blog Search "ping" service not working

Hi!

Since around January 25th, I am not being able to ping my blogs to Google anymore.

Since that day, when I ping (I use self hosted Wordpress blogs) automatically or even manually (http://blogsearch.google.com/ping), google won't fetch my RSS feed (I checked) nor index my new blog entry - when in the past that usually happened almost instantly.

I have a very active blog (more than 5 post per day) so it can't be lack of new content for several days or something like that.

Googlebot on the other hand, visits my site regularly, but it's taking a little bit longer to index my new posts, I guess because in the past pinging was a huge help to letting Google now that there was new stuff to lurk.

Please bear my English, hope you can understand what my problem is. Is anybody else noticing something like that? Is there any way that I could be "blocking" google's feedfetcher?

Thanks in advance :)

The google's ping service is working for us (last used on 15th Feb). Also, I have not seen any drop in indexing in blogs I maintain. Even without ping, our blogs usually get indexed with seconds of posting.
