Do AdSense competitor ads affect SERP?

I had been experimenting with Clicksor (one of the prime AdSense competitors) since two days. Ever-since I put Clicksor ads (not with AdSense, but on some pages), I am observing a very profound drop in Google traffic, and AdSense revenue has dropped roughly by 50%. eCPM has also dropped to the extent of being shocking.

Not sure if it's the effect of some algo change or the presence of Clicksor code on some of my pages. Anyone else with similar experiences? The affect is not specific to a certain website, but the whole of my websites. It looks as if G went "Ok you sonovavich, I am gonna penalize all of your websites for daring use our competitor!12!lol"

I have removed Clicksor ads as of now.

Glad to see you put the "lol" in there, because I'm pretty certain this is not Google's position. Do you have WebmasterTools set up? If so, anything helpful in that data - malware warnings, crawl errors, site speed problems?

:) Yes, I have GWT set up. No notices of any kind. I'll assume it was a temporary thing and observe the coming day.

The leading PPC Advertisement Networks like Adsense, YPN, MSN Ad Center, Adbrite, Chitika, Widgetbucks uses javascript or flash to deliver the ads to the publishing website. The both can not effect the SEO of a website by any means.
