Website URL's Hyperlinked In SERP's

I've seen this before in the SERP's but wasn't sure how or why it happens. Today Google has renamed/changed every URL for my website.

For example if I search for "blue widgets" my website is 1st as usual but the URL under the description has changed from...

www.example.com/blue-widgets/
to
www.example.com > Blue Widgets Category

Blue Widgets Category is a hyperlink and leads to the category page for "blue widgets". The title still leads to the page I optimized "blue widgets" for.

I'm glad it has happened because it's one more link but does anyone know why this happens?

It sounds like Google has cooked up some breadcrumbs for your site reference [webmasterworld.com]. Each of the phrases are linked to a different URL on your site, correct?

Yes Tedster every phrase after the URL links to a category on my site. It looks like Google is using the breadcrumbs that I have set up on my site.

Thanks for the link.
