I read when you search Pages From: "country" google shows only website psychically hosted in that country
is taht right?
it doens't work for me because my website isn't hosted in my country but it shows up in that serps lol

It used to be a lot more strict, though never 100%. In the middle of this year, Google really loosened things up.

funny stuff is if i search for Pages in "language" my website doens't show up
if i search pages from "country" i am 6th.. doh google is doing something with my site... i am losing ranks since 6-7 months now :(
edit: to be more accurate, when i search this keyword (1 word) in pages in "language" 1 time my website is 8th if i search again (same serp) it completly disappear .... i don't know what's going on,unfortunately

If your site uses a gTLD and hasn't been designated in WMT as targeting your country, then the explanation could be that it is an historical thing, e.g. it collected a lot of good links from your country. I have seen a few .com sites in Australia that show for "Pages from Australia" even though this has not been set in WMT, but they are old businesses with lots of links. They struggle to rank as well in other countries.

yes i have many backlink from my country..
anyway I think this feature (pages from: country) is completly useless, dunno why google keeps it

On a particular "London" related search on "country" on .uk I regularly get a site about London Ontario.
There are other searches where I know that there are more relevant sites in the US but page 1 is only UK sites on a web search.
