I notice I can't see indented listings now. From when? I wonder if this is related to a recent algo change.

I can't keep up. So many changes, then changing things back. All I want is simple search results!

Sharp eye! It's not so easy to notice the absence of something - must easier to notice the presence of something new.

I suspect that indented listings did become more rare with those "four" listings. Last month's algo shift also seems to play into the picture - the change that moved a lot of rankings to an internal page instead of the domain root.

A third factor may also be related - the plus signs [+] for more pages from the site. Bottom line for Google is that they will change anything if it tests well with the majority of users. Webmasters are a minority.

So I try to expect change and not be surprised when I see it. If it works in my favor for a while, I enjoy that, but I don't count on it being "forever" because it won't be.

Is anyone seeing any indented listings at all right now?

Yes, "Users" can be given a wider definition than "Webmasters".
