Parameter handling in Google WMT - duplicate content still reported

So I wonder why duplicate content is being reported although the specific parameter has been entered in "Parameter handling" for many months now.

There are a lot of these being applied to my links in AdWords so if it's all or none there would be a lot of them there or nothing.

Yet, I have three URLs reported for duplicate title and description tags.

What is Google missing here? Why these are able to sneak through?

Thanks

I'd say there's a technology disconnect between WMT and the actual SERPs - that almost a given, right? There are other similar issues right now, probably unintended side effects of trying to put more information into the webmaster's hands.

As I see it, the challenge is Google's monster infrastructure. It was built to facilitate search - not webmaster reporting. So every time they try to create more reporting, they have to cobble something together because it's not integral to the main system.

If those parameters don't show up in the SERPs then the core functionality is doing its job. The reporting is kind of a step-child and struggles along. I think it is quite a feat just to give us a much as they do - there's a lot of "us" involved!
